Ben & Anglea Anglea ...

The Ben Anglea family
missionaries to Madagascar
I was saved when I was twelve years old in my bedroom. After a Sunday night service, I told my dad that I needed to be saved and he led me to the Lord. My wife Ashley was saved after a service at the Triple S Christian Ranch when she was sixteen years old. Her mom led her to the Lord after the preaching.

I grew up in a pastor’s home. My dad has been pastor of the Faith Baptist Church in Bourbonnais, Illinois for the last 15 years. Ashley grew up her entire life at the Windsor Hills Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, under Pastor Jim Vineyard. Her dad has been on staff there since 1978.

When I was sixteen years old, our youth group went to Mount Salem Revival Grounds for teen camp. On Tuesday night, Dr. Gary Lovens preached, and God called me to be a missionary.

Ashley and I both attended and graduated from Oklahoma Baptist College. I majored in

missions, and Ashley majored in secondary education – both four year degrees. We started in 2001, and graduated in 2005.

While Ashley and I were at Oklahoma Baptist College, we were both in many ministries. We both helped and taught as substitutes in Sunday School classes. Ashley also helped in the Special Ed. Class. We both were in the bus ministry all four years, and I was captain for my senior year. We also were involved in weekly soul winning. I was involved in the nursing home and street preaching ministries as well.
After our graduation, I was on staff at my home church for the following summer. I worked with the youth, as well as being involved in nearly every other ministry our church has.

We started deputation in September of 2005. We plan to continue on deputation until we raise our support needed for Madagascar. After deputation, we plan on attending language school for one to two years before starting a work in Madagascar.
